"I'd tried microneedling and lasers elsewhere for years with barely any change in my acne scars. The subcision and Sculptra combination Dr. Mortazavi did was a completely different level — I saw real texture improvement after one session."

"The fact that the actual physician is in the room performing your treatment — not just signing off on it from down the hall — changes everything. My results are consistently better here than anywhere else."

"I had no idea this level of care existed in Newport Beach. Dr. Mortazavi used ultrasound to see what was actually happening before touching anything. Within one session the issue was completely resolved."

"Botox had stopped working for me entirely. Dr. Mortazavi offered Myobloc as an alternative. First time in over two years my lines actually relaxed. No other practice in OC offered this."

01
Signature Protocol Most Requested
Acne Scar Subcision + CO2 + Sculptra
Subcision releases the tethering that resurfacing can't reach, Sculptra supports the released tissue, and CO2 refines the surface. The treatment for patients whose lasers stopped delivering.

New Technology New at Plump
PicoLazer — Pigmentation & Texture
Dual-wavelength picosecond laser for sun damage, melasma, and post-acne marks. Fragments pigment photoacoustically rather than with heat — safer across a broader range of skin tones than IPL.
03
Pigmentation Hub Melasma, Sun Spots & Dark Marks
Not all pigmentation is the same condition, and treating melasma like sun damage makes it worse. How each is distinguished and treated differently.
04
Specialty Ultrasound-Guided Filler Dissolving
Live imaging confirms what's actually there before any enzyme is placed — including whether it's filler at all. Filler from other practices routinely treated.
05
Specialty Myobloc — Botox Resistance
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all type A — switching between them doesn't help. Type B is a different protein. Few practices in Orange County offer it.
06
Start Here Botox or Filler? Which You Need
A line that appears only when you move is a muscle problem. A hollow that's there when you're still is a volume problem. Most people arrive asking for the wrong one.
Why Patients Choose Plump
The standard we hold
ourselves to
01
Doctor-Only Injections
No nurses, no assistants, no exceptions. California law permits delegation under supervision — and supervision doesn't always mean the physician is present. Here it does.
02
Told When Not To
Some consultations end with a cheaper treatment, or none at all. A wide jaw that's bone won't respond to neurotoxin, and saying so costs the booking.
03
Acne Scar Correction, Done Fully
Subcision, biostimulator, and resurfacing together — not one isolated treatment repeated until the returns run out.
04
Natural Results Philosophy
Results that enhance without announcing themselves. Conservative by default, built across sessions rather than in one.
05
Complex Corrections Welcome
A significant share of the work is correcting treatment done elsewhere. Filler placed at other practices is routinely assessed and dissolved.
06
Private, By Appointment
A discreet, unhurried environment. No waiting rooms, no overlap. You see the physician — not whoever is available that day.
The Physician
The doctor who does
every treatment himself

At most medical spas, the physician designs the treatment plan and a nurse performs the injection. At Plump, that never happens. Dr. Mortazavi performs every treatment personally — from the first consultation to the final result. No exceptions.

His subspecialty focus in acne scar correction, ultrasound-guided filler dissolving, and Myobloc for neurotoxin resistance has made Plump a destination for patients told their concerns couldn't be corrected elsewhere. Complex corrections and second opinions are a significant part of the practice rather than an exception.

It also means being told when a treatment won't work. Some consultations end with a cheaper option, or with nothing. That's harder to sell and produces better results — and it's why patients come back.
