Dr. Amir is licensed by the Medical Board of California, specializing in the art of aesthetics and non-invasive cosmetic procedures. He is the founder and medical director of Plump Medical Spa.

Dr. Amir was trained and awarded his aesthetic fellowship through The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) and earning a certification in the field of Skin Care & Repair from Harvard Medical School. A published author and an active participant in the New York Chapter of American College of Physician (ACP) he was awarded with the Certificate of Merit by the chapter and his achievements were spotlighted in The Leading Physicians of the World and Doctors of Excellence. He was also selected as a Top Doctor by The International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP).

His medical journey started with his Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), followed by his Master of Science (MSc) and medical degree (MD) at Saba University School of Medicine. While in training in the specialty of Internal Medicine in New York City, he concurrently completed a certification program in Pain Medicine at University of Southern California (USC), Keck School of Medicine, in addition to acquiring his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in healthcare management from Davenport University.
